The Stein-Berg is a VDP.GROSSE LAGE and the prime part of Würzburg Stein. In the western side of this vineyard there is our vineyard HAGEMANN*, planted with Riesling since 1969 and over 75% steep. With these old vines the berries are small, highly aromatic and have very low yields. Our Riesling GG in the Stein-Berg are refined with infinite finesse and great ageing potential and are considered to be among the finest Riesling wines.

*From the 2020 vintage, our Stein HAGEMANN will be sold under the protected designation of origin (PDO) Stein-Berg.
