Würzburg's Abtsleite is situated to the southwest and benefits from the heat from the city of  Würzburg. Even in earlier centuries, the most important religious orders produced and appreciated wines in this top vineyard, hence the name (Abt =Abbot). Wines from the Abtsleite have a noble coolness, fine citrus notes and ripe, puristic aromas.
